- On arrival at the clinic you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire. This allows the practitioner to assess your suitability for treatment.
- A face to face consultation is an important aspect of your care. Caren will discuss different treatment options and talk about realistic expectations from the treatment administered. The possible risks and complications will also be thoroughly explained during this session.
- Should you decide to proceed with the treatment you will be asked to sign a consent to treatment form.
- For some treatments, a face to face consultation with an independent nurse prescriber will also take place.
- Pre procedure advice will be given.
- A cooling off period is recommended if you’re not 100% sure about going ahead.
- Before photos will be taken prior to treatment. These are necessary for insurance purposes, to compare your results and may also be used for social media promotion (but only with your full consent!)
- Your skin will be thoroughly cleaned with chlorhexidine and for dermal fillers a tropical anaesthetic cream will be applied.
- Following the procedure, aftercare advice will be given and you will be handed an aftercare leaflet and the clinic contact details in case you have any queries.
- For some treatments, a follow up appointment will be arranged for around 2 weeks post-treatment. Any necessary “top-up” will be given and the all important after pics will be taken too.
